Before you book
A few minutes of preparation makes the visit simpler.
A patch test
Book one before a first lash lift or brow lamination. A small test shows if you react to a product. It helps, but it doesn't predict every reaction.
The day of your visit
No eye makeup, curler or oil-based products near your eyes, and contact lenses out for a lift. For waxing, hair about a quarter inch long.
Who should wait
If your eyes or the skin around them are red, sore or irritated, or you've had eye surgery lately, wait and talk to your doctor first.
If you react
If you notice burning, swelling, redness or blurred vision after a visit, tell me and call your doctor or go to urgent care. Reactions can happen.
Three questions
Can I come straight from work in my makeup?
Yes for brows and waxing. For a lash lift, please take off eye makeup first, or come a few minutes early and I'll help.
What should I tell you when I book?
Any allergies, any skin product you use on your face, and anything about your eyes that has changed lately.
Can I bring a friend?
The suite is one small room, so please come on your own. A friend can wait in the hall.
