Brows and waxing
Brow shaping
I start with your own brow, not a template: I map where it begins, arches and ends, then take away only what falls outside that line, with warm wax or with tweezers. Lamination brushes your brows upward and sets them for a fuller look.
How long
Shaping takes about half an hour
Lamination takes about 45 minutes
Lip, chin and face waxing are quick visits

What happens in the chair
- 01
Step 1: Mapping
I mark where your brow starts, arches and ends, and we agree on the line before anything is touched.
- 02
Step 2: Shaping
I remove what falls outside the line with warm wax or tweezers, and check each side against the other.
- 03
Step 3: The finish
I brush your brows into place, and we go over what to do for the rest of the day.
Before you book
Let the hair come in
For waxing, hair should be about a quarter inch long. If it is shorter, the wax can't hold it.
Tell me about your skin
If you use a prescription skin product on your face, say so when you book.
A patch test for lamination
Book one before a first lamination. It helps, but it doesn't predict every reaction.
How often
Shaping
Most clients come back every three to five weeks.
Lamination
Most clients come back every six to eight weeks.
Waxing
Hair grows back, and many clients book again in a few weeks.
Two questions
Wax or tweezers?
Wax is quicker over a wide area. Tweezers are slower and more exact, and a good choice for sensitive skin. We choose together at your visit.
Can I wear makeup afterward?
Skin can look pink for a little while, so skip makeup on it for the rest of the day.
Book brow shaping
A deposit holds visits of 45 minutes or longer. Shaping and waxing take none.
